- 4Group small fixings, sealant and sundries into one materials line rather than pricing individual screws.
- 5Offer a snagging window in the notes. It costs you almost nothing and it visibly reduces payment friction.
When to send it
On the day for a single visit. For a punch-list spread over several days, one invoice at the end listing every task is easier for the customer than a trickle.
Most handyman invoices are small and paid within days. If one goes past 14 days, a text on site the next time you are nearby usually settles it.
